Account Manager

BoviSync, a fast-growing employee-owned dairy herd management software company, is seeking a fulltime account manager.  In this position, you will need to sell new farms BoviSync, conduct the implementation and conversion from previous herd records methods, and train the herd staff in the use of BoviSync.  Afterward, you will be the farm’s primary point of contact and relationship with BoviSync.  This position requires you to be comfortable on large dairies and to understand the farm’s management practices, then setup the herd management software to meet all current and desired practices.  Many farms use printed paper lists for lists and you will be converting them to using a mobile app for all lists and entry, therefore a high-level of understanding what is done at the dairy is required to customize BoviSync to their needs.  Another significant portion of time is invested in setting up reports and working with consultants to assist them in getting the reports they need for dairy farm analysis.  One of the most exciting parts of this position is the opportunity to be working large numbers of the most progressive dairy farms in the United States and world-wide.

Responsibilities: 
• Learn how the dairy operates and implement that system in BoviSync so daily task lists are completely automated 
• Conduct sales and implementation 
• Train users in how to utilize BoviSync
• Be the lead point of contact for sales and technical assistance to dairies
• Build and maintain a long-lasting trust relationship with the dairies 
• Work with support staff to provide the necessary support to your customers
• Further your knowledge in dairy management to stay up-to-date and provide relevant answers to your clients 
• Serve as the link between the customer and the product development process, identifying customer needs and how they can be implemented within the software

Requirements: 

• Experience in dairy herd management, large herd experience desired
• Experience with DC305 and Excel 
• Excellent listening skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and implementations 
• Ability to self-motivate, self-learn, and work autonomously
• Ability to manage and adapt to change
• Spanish is helpful, but not required
