BoviSync offers software as a service, with the emphasis on service. You will foster a culture for the engineering team which embodies service to our customers and each other, while being communicative, flexible and pragmatic. You will ensure that your team is supported with the tools and processes they need to meet the company’s business goals, and align tasks and priorities to match. You will be responsible for recruitment, hiring and continuous education for the engineering team.

Position:

You should have experience as an engineer working on web applications as part of an agile team. Your team will work with the executive management team to make improvements to our continuous delivery workflow that reduce lead times and improve reliability. You won’t be writing production code in this position, but you will need to understand the work of your team sufficiently to offer architectural guidance and implementation suggestions, as well as to communicate implications of those decisions to product management and customer support teams. You will report to the CTO.

Compensation is competitive, including medical, dental and vision insurance, retirement, paid-time-off and stock ownership options. We love open source at BoviSync and will support you in contributing to the open source tools we use. We are looking to hire self-disciplined entrepreneurial people. All of us at BoviSync are excited about bringing modern software to the dairy industry and want you to be excited too. We actively seek input from all employees in getting our internal systems right.

We have a flexible work from home policy and a partially remote engineering team. As a manager you should expect to be in our Fond Du Lac, WI office at least 2 days per week, and should also be comfortable communicating with your team using video.
