Director of Operations - US


BoviSync, a fast-growing employee-owned dairy herd management software company, is looking for a Director of US Operations. In this role, you will oversee all operational aspects of the domestic business and be a visible face of the company. The company has been a fast-growing company and the candidate needs to accelerate and manage this growth. Experience in managing sales and operations is critical for building a domestic sales and implementation workforce. The candidate will be immersed in working in the dairy industry and working in the developing space of “Big Data”. Additionally, you may do some relationship management with large customers (farms milking more than 10,000 cows). The primary goal of the position is to transition the company from the start-up stage to becoming the primary dairy cattle software in the United States. One of the most exciting parts of this position is the opportunity to work with the most progressive dairy farms in the United States.

Primary Role Responsibilities:

• Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, and cash flow goals
• Provide day-to-day leadership and management that aligns with the company’s mission, vision, and culture
• Foster a people-oriented and accountable environment within the company
• Design and implement business operations, systems, and processes
• Be a public face for the company to dairy producers and industry partners
• Build a team which supports the company culture and will carry out your vision for growth
• Provide industry feedback and information on upcoming trends and technology to the CEO
• Maintain knowledge of the dairy industry
• Work with domestic distribution partners to grow business

Required Education and Experience:

• Experience managing sales and operations
• Excellent people skills with an ability to foster professional development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to self-motivate, self-learn, and work autonomously
• Ability to manage and adapt to change

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in large herd dairy herd management or advising
• Experience with animal records analysis
• Experience managing distribution contracts
• Exposure to data science
• Extensive connections in the US dairy community
• MBA would be a plus
